Dear Educator,
The Japan Society of Connecticut (JSC) is a non-profit organization committed to fostering and sustaining the deepening relationship between Japan and the United States. The Japan Society of Connecticut recognizes the need for cross-cultural exchange between Japan and the U.S., the need to stimulate the study of the Japanese language and culture in America; and the need to educate the leaders of tomorrow – our youth – about Japan and its culture.
We are offering small and limited numbers of grants for K-12 school teachers for 2004-2005. There will be no standard application form but each application must be submitted via school's official letter head.
We are also offering limited number of school visitations as a guest speaker, a demonstrator, etc. Please send email to info@JapanSocietyCT.org to check availability and to make arrangement.
